The Lincoln Izaak Walton League Rifle shooting facilities consist of 15/25-yard, 25/50/75-yard, 100-yard and 200/300-yard ranges.
The rifle and pistol ranges are open only during daylight hours. Any member holding a RIFLE CARD AND GATE CARD has free access to these ranges. (Except when a scheduled match is taking place.) THE 300-YARD RANGE is open ONLY when the range is supervised by a designated Range Safety Officer (RSO), during the 300-yard benchrest shoots or the Pistol and Rifle Silhouette shoots. Check the calendar, or contact the Event chairman for more information.
A cadre of volunteer member RSO’s have scheduled days and times when the 300-yard range will be available for members to use for shooting practice. Please respect the schedule and the RSO. NOTE: The range is ONLY open when supervised.
Before using the Rifle Ranges please become familiar with the RIFLE AND PISTOL RANGE PROCEDURES.
REMEMBER: THE USE OF THESE RANGES DEPENDS UPON THE SAFE USE OF YOUR FIREARM AND YOUR ABILITY TO PUT THE SHOTS ONLY INTO THE BACKSTOPS! (Our sport should always respect our neighbors.)
Note: All rifles are banned from the 7-YARD Pistol range.
On the pistol range, you may fire any firearms using the .17/.22 Rimfire ammunition (rifle & pistol), muzzleloading firearms, shotguns firing slugs, and firearms using the posted list of typical handgun calibers. Check with the 25-yard PISTOL RANGE FIREARMS & CARTRIDGES SIGN for a complete listing.

RIFLE RANGE ORIENTATIONS
New and/or existing members enrolling in rifle range privileges for the first time are required to complete a range orientation class.
Members coming for orientation should plan for an hour-and-a-half, and bring a firearm of their choice and some matching ammunition. We will have a live range experience as part of the orientation.
Range orientations are conducted by chapter directors as schedules allow. Contact the membership chairman for info at 402-466-9040, or email: email@example.com or check the calendar.
