Volunteers Needed to Help with Grass Burning Project
Greetings Lincoln Ikes members,
We will be burning off grass to expose some volunteer trees that need to be taken out on our property just north of the trap ranges tomorrow morning. This should only take a couple of hours, but we are in need of some volunteers to ensure that this is done well and safely. Although it is very windy today, the forecast for tomorrow looks to be much better and we will have a burn permit as required.
Therefore, if you are able and willing, please join us as we work on this project tomorrow morning, March 26th, beginning at 8:30 a.m. Our groundskeeper Neil Lunzmann will be leading this project and we will meet at the rock house (the green metal building just to the west of the clubhouse). Please let Neil know if you are able to join us by calling him at 402.469.6501. We suggest bringing rakes, shovels, and pump-up sprayers for water if you have any of these items.
