Shooting Event Information
● Pre-squadding is required and can be done by contacting Dave Tunink by cell phone at 402.430.1759 or by email at dtunink1971@gmail.com.
● Coaches, please provide me your squadding information using an Excel format.
● Registration information needs to be returned to Dave Tunink via email no later than 7:00 p.m. on March 8th (first meet) and March 29th (second meet).
● Fees will be collected the day of the shoot via a single payment (checks are preferred) for all shooters from a school made by the coach or a school representative. Check in should be completed 45 minutes prior to their shooting time.
● The Senior 16 Yard event will begin promptly at 7:30 a.m. with the program starting on all 7 traps.
● The Junior High Event will begin at the conclusion of the Senior High Handicap Event and it will be announced on the PA system. Estimated start time is 2:00 p.m. or earlier depending on the number of Senior High shooters.
● Shooters need to be at the range and ready to shoot at least 45 minutes prior to their squad start time. Squad numbers will be listed on the back of the shooter chair at each range.
● There will be no re-squadding. You miss your shoot time, you don’t shoot.
● Coaches will be required to provide scorers for their squad and safety officers for the junior high squads. Also provide scorers for the same squad number for handicaps.
● Shooters are required to take 50 shells to the line with no breaks between boxes. Please pick up any empty shells that may have landed on the ground after shooting has completed.
● Individual and team ties will be shot off for Champion and First only. All other ties will be broken by using best score by subevent and if need, longest run from the front. Results will be posted.
● At this time, awards will be given to coaches. This will allow people to leave earlier.
● No guns are allowed in the clubhouse and the club is not responsible for accidents or loss of property.
● No parking on the county road as you will get a ticket and possibly towed.
● In case of wet conditions, parking will only be allowed on the graveled areas. Tents will be allowed on the grass areas.
● Health guidelines will be determined prior to the shoot. At this time, food and drinks well be available in the clubhouse as well as seating.
● Lastly, please inform your shooters and parents that the railroad track north of the range is now an active track, thus please stop at the track and look since it very hard to see either direction on the track.
