Time: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Ages: Focus is youth 18 and under, but everyone is welcome
Fee:
- Youth Individual: $5.00 each
- Adult Without a Youth: $10.00 each
- Adult With One Youth: $12.00
- Additional Youth: $5.00 each
Each youth receives 100 rounds of ammo free with paid fee (as long as ammo is available).
Equipment: Rifle or handgun: .22 Rimfire chambered for Short, Long or Long Rifle only

Safety: Safety glasses and hearing protection are MANDATORY
Recommended: Mat, Spotting Scope, Ammo Block, Clear Bore/Chamber Indicator, Bug Spray
Rules: Following current NRA Rifle Silhouette Rules as a guideline.
- Our club is encouraging youth to have fun and learn in a relaxed environment.
- Club members are available to assist as needed.
- Silhouette shooting is a reactive target game. (A change from shooting paper targets.)
The basic course of fire is the same, 10 chickens, 10 pigs, 10 turkeys and 10 rams. The animals are fired upon within a specific time limit.
What type of equipment is needed?
- Any good quality .22 caliber rifle/handgun.
- Any .22 caliber standard velocity ammunitions. The standard velocity ammunitions are more consistent and accurate. High Velocity and less. Hyper Velocity such as CCI Stingers, Remington Viper and Yellow Jackets are not allowed as they will damage the silhouettes.
- Preferred sights are scopes ranging from 4-power on up.
- A shooting companion to help spot where the bullets are striking is truly helpful.
