CRP & Walking Trail
The north half of the property is enrolled in the Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) as part of the LIWL’s long term commitment to conserving wildlife habitat. The area is available for members to walk and enjoy nature.
The Nature Trail exists as a hiking trail around the perimeter of the CRP northwest of the pond for use by members and their guests. Members are allowed to bring their dogs on the trail. Hikers must stay on the trail. It is open to our members from sunrise to sunset.
* No firearms allowed in this area aside from CCW which must not be visible.
